SYSTEM REMOVAL / RE-INSTALL
Solar panel, equipment, & system racking hardware removed for roof repairs or for preparation for new roof construction. 10 years of solar industry installation and service experience allows DR. SUNSHINE the ability to quickly and safely solve your solar system’s issues.
*Re-Installation may require additional purchase of racking materials if legacy racking is damaged, proprietary, retired from production or unusable

CRITTER REMOVAL / PEST GUARD INSTALLATION
Removal critters nesting inside of your solar system that cause damage to your roof shingle integrity and potential damage to the system wiring and equipment. Wire damage left unattended and unrepaired creates serious risk for a house fire. Exposed wiring and leaf and nest debris that can cause fires on top of the home underneath the solar.

Dr. Sunshine Solar started out of the growing need for homeowners who have had solar companies install solar panels with great haste, only to abandon their responsibilities to maintain and service the solar equipment shortly thereafter. Often times homeowners are put on extremely long wait times just to even diagnose the system issue before having to waiting again for that company to come back and fix the equipment. Our goal at Dr. Sunshine is to be able to provide homeowners a timely and responsive solution to their solar system needs. This dedication coupled with a decade’s worth of installation experience can give solar homeowners the knowledge and maintenance needs that large companies often say they will provide but most fall short of.

Installation technician that has been in the field for over 10 years with having installed, trained, and removed dozens of different types of solar system racking components. Spent 5 years in large installation companies throughout the Northeast region of the US and another 5 training the largest and industry leading companies on proper installation techniques, use of tools, and new product demonstrations. This exposure to the industry and seeing firsthand some of the frustrations homeowners deal with on a day-to-day basis has shown why the solar industry needs knowledgable technicians not only installing but also servicing these systems.

Often times while doing installs and divulging my credentials I am reminded that had I gone to school for installing solar systems I could have my doctorate in Solar installations. Out on a training one day I asked the crew members “How many years of experience do you all have?” and the longest tentured guy responded with “10 months”. Not years, but months and he was in charge of the entire operation on that day. When I told him that I had been doing installations when he was in 5th grade his response was “Wow, you could be a doctor for this solar stuff since they only go to school for 8 years!”. After that day I realized just how much knowledge I had gained over these 10 years and also that everyday an unaware homeowner is getting a solar panel array done by an inexperienced installer.
